Police and Civilians Attacked In KYONGSANG-PUKTO On 09 November 16 men armed with 4 rifles and clubs attacked a block master and 3 friends in PANGUMDONG (1194-1420). The mob killed 2 of the men, including the block master, and seriously injured the remaining 2. On 10 November 2 policemen were attacked near NAERI (1225-1422) by 10 constabularymen armed with carbines assisted by 10 men armed with clubs. One of the policemen was captured by the mob but the other escaped. (6th Div Flash Report. C-3) b. Raider Activities On CHEJU-Do At 110300 November raiders attacked the village of SANAM NI (936-1147) and burned an estimated 80 homes. Police report that 80 of the raiders were killed. The village of CHOCHON NI (963-1155) was attacked by raiders at 110700 November and approximately 30 homes were burned. One policeman was killed. (CIC Flash Report. C-3) c. Round-Up of Mutineers Continues In CHOLLA-NAMDO On 09 November 2 members of the 14th Regiment, which mutinied at YUSU, were apprehended by members of the 5th Constabulary Brigade in SONGJONG NI (980-1345). Report That NAJU Mutineers Are Now In CHOLLA-PUKTO Confirmed The 49 Constabulary mutineers who were reportedly surrounded in the vicinity of KUCHLING (974-1398) on 09 November by police and constabulary units (P/R #985) have been identified as members of Company "E", 4th Constabulary Regiment, who mutinied at NAJU (970-1330) on 02 November.
