a. 제6보병사단:
(2) 제20보병연대 소속 연합소대가 1948년 8월 27일 오전 7시 해상으로 제주 도(951-1150)를 출발하여 1948년 8월 28일 오후 11시 10분 광주(986-1351)
에 도착했다.

G-3 OPERATIONS REPORT
1. LOCATION OF TROOPS
No major change.
2. WEATHER AND VISIBILITY
Warm with rain. Favorable to ground operations.
3. OPERATIONS FOR THE PERIOD
a. 6th Infantry Division:
(1) (Delayed) During the period 20 to 27 August 1948, 506 Military
and 21,429 Civilian Measurement Tons were discharged from the port of Pusan.
(2) 1 composite platoon 20th Infantry Regiment departed Cheju Do
Island (951-1150) by water on 270700 August 1948 closed Kwangju
(986-1351) on 282310 August 1948.
(3) 1st Infantry Regiment conducted 2 motorized patrols for intelligence and security.
(4) During the period 43,267 Military and 31,121 Civilian Measurement Tons were discharged from the port of Pusan.
(5) During the period 22 to 28 August 1948, 13,052 Military Measurement Tons were outloaded from the port of Pusan.
b. 7th Infantry Division: Patrols for intelligence and security were conducted as follows: 48th Field Artillery Battalion, 2 motorized patrols;
31st Infantry Regiment, 29 foot and 5 motorized patrols; 32nd Infantry Regiment,
80 foot and 7 motorized patrols.
c. Korea Base Command:
(1) During the period 10,396 Military Measurement Tons were discharged from the port of Inchon.
(2) During the period 22 to 28 August 1948, 18,239 Military Measurement Tons were outloaded from the port of Inchon.
d. 80th Medical Group: Effective 27 August 1948 the following unit was reduced to record status: 89th Station Hospital.
4. RESULTS OF OPERATIONS
Minor troop displacements were effected. All major commands continued normal occupational duties.
5. MISCELLANEOUS
a. During the period 301800 August 1948 to 011800 September 1948 the
Korean Coast Guard investigated 74 vessels in Korean Waters.

b. During the period 1238 Koreans crossed the 38° Parallel from
North Korea and entered camps at Kaesong, Uijongbu, Chumunjin and
Chunchon.
