한국 해군
1. 3월 21일 함선 4척이 한국 육군부대를 제주도 근해의 작은 섬으로 이동시키 기 시작하였다. 이것은 그곳에 피신해 있는 게릴라들을 소탕하기 위한 것이다.
2. 현재 4척의 배가 제주도 근해를 순찰하고 있다. 보고된 밀수범은 없다.

KOREAN ARMY
1. 2-day conference held for all S-1s of Brig and Regt; purpose, implementation of new personnel accounting system. Goes into effect 1 Apr and will reflect the actual KA strength with only a 24-hr error factor.
2. Plat demonstrations put on by 5th RCT held at Susaik for 12th, 13th Regts and at Uijongbu for 1st Regt.
3. Approx 400 EM commenced Sig Schl at Yong Dong Po.
4. 1100 hrs 25 Mar, elements of KA participated in parade commemorating birthday of President Rhee. Trps and eqpt presented excellent appearance.
5. Dissidents:
a. Due to many factors such as duplication of names; unidentified names, et cetera, a new list of dissidents is being compiled. This list will contain new suspects acquired through recent interrogation of apprehended dissidents.
b. North Korea Armed Forces Deserters: one lt, Peoples' Army; two Pvts, No An Pao, deserted and turned in to SKA. Reason: dissatisfaction with their treatment in NK.
6. Operations:
In order to present a more condensed report, operations in the future will be reported in three major areas: 38th parallel, SK and Cheju Do.
a. 38th parallel: 5 incidents reported during period, with fol results:
Enemy: KIA, 18; WIA, MIA and POW, 0.
KA : KIA, 1; WIA, 2; MIA and POW, 0.
b. South Korea: Casualties arising from incidents rptd as fol:
Guerrillas: KIA, 113; WIA and MIA, 0; POW, 36

d. Operations in General:
Task Force "C" under Gen Chung and operating in Chiri
San area, appears to have situation well-in-hand. American Advisor
TFC says it appears the guerrillas are going underground, hoping the Army will terminate opns. Then the guerrillas will strike.
TFC will continue opns and place much stress on their Central Intell system.
7. KA Strength: 2930 Off; 64,517 EM; 1579 Cadets
Total: 69,026.
8. Reserve Corps: Strength, 14,000. 21 Mar, Intell Schl commenced. 31 students attending, 10 of whom are graduates of the
1st Officers' Class. Remaining 21 will enter the next Officers'
class on 3 April.
KOREAN NAVY
1. Four vessels commenced moving KA troops 21 Mar to the small islands located near and off Chaju Do for purpose of cleaning up guerrillas that may have taken refuge there.
2. 4 vessels presently patrolling shores of Chaju Do.
No smugglers reported during period.
3. Strength: 399 Off; 265 Mid'n; 3343 EM
Total: 4007.
