1. 제2연대 소속 1개 대대가 현재 계획의 수행 차 제주도로 이동하기 위하여 오늘 군산으로 이동 중이다.
2. 전라남도에서 김백일이 직접 지휘하는 제5여단이 이번 주 65명을 죽이고, 23명을 포로로 잡았으며, M-1 소총 27정과 카빈 8정을 획득했다. 피해는 4명이 사망하고 5명이 부상했다.
4. 구례와 지리산 무장대 200명에 대한 2개 중대의 작전이 오늘 아침 성공적으로 이뤄졌으나 자세한 보고는 받지 못했다.

1. One Bn 2nd Regt is moving to Kunsan today for transport to Cheju do in conformance with current plans.
2. In Cholla Namdo, 5th Brig under personal command of Kim Pak Il, during the week killed 65, captured 23, recovered 27 M-1 rifles and 8 carbines with loss of 4 killed and 5 wounded.
In addition, 20th Regt (old 4th) killed 15 and captured 12, recovering
2 M-1 rifles.
3. Kangwon Do
Light activity only. A light Bn has been organized for defense of
Yongwol; recruiting finished. Patrolling by 8th and 10th Regts active. No group larger than platoon has been active and no important reports of enemy activity.
4. Burye and Chiri-San
An operation of 2 Co's against 200 raiders struck this morning with success, but no detailed reports received.
5. Recruiting
23,434 recruits obtained and accepted this date. Now 1000 overstrength.
6. Brevity Code for use of American Advisors prepared and distributed to include RCT.
7. Lt Col Haberer appointed assistant to Col Wright, C/S PMAG.
8. Letter directed to Minister INF protesting formation of Military Police
Bureau on RHD level.
9. Strength PMAG: 133 Officers, 115 EM.
10. Engineers report road patching completed on Kimpo-Yong Dong Po road.
11. New IG regulations completed and being translated.

12. Nine (9) Field Grade Officers have reported for duty with
PMAG to replace junior Advisors. Two more field grade Advisors due to report from Korea; eight due to report from FEC (China Mission personnel).
