10. 한국군 책임자(Chief KA)가 12월 9일 연속적으로 검열에 들어가 12월 9~11 일 서울, 12~18일 제2여단과 5여단을 방문할 것이다. 한국군 책임자가 방문한 대 전의 제2연대는 12월 15일 제주도 이동을 통보받았다. 여수 사건이 되풀이되는 걸 방지하기 위해 특단의 예방책들이 취해지고 있다.
15. 여수-순천 사건 이후 현재까지의 재판 결과는 총 2,023명(군인 1307명, 민 간인 916명)이 재판을 받아 무죄 127명(민간인 19명), 유죄 2,096명, 사형 886 명(민간인 19명), 무기징역 215명(민간인 43명), 집행유예 640명이며, 현재 재판이 진행 중인 사람은 1,140명(민간인 1,000명)이다. 오늘까지 총 277명에 대한 사형이 집행됐다.

1. Coordinated master schedule for 5 months' course at KMA with Korean G-3 and KMAc superintendent. Curriculum for new course now firm; class entered 11 Dec. Approximately 1100 cadets now enrolled; this number entirely too large for instructor corps at KMA or physical capacity of plant, and was enrolled against strong advice of American staff.
2. Plans underway to establish a corps of interpreters for use of American Advisors in field. Interpreters to hold substantive rank of 1st Lt and to be subject to Articles of War.
3. Draft of Korean EAD Circular on Officer assignment reviewed. Too much centralized authority for assignments within KA vested in Supreme C/S. Circular changed upon American advice.
4. Gen Roberts scheduled to return from Tokyo 14 December.
5. Total recruits for week ending 11 December, 3347; total to date, 4541.
6. Survey on status of KC troop training completed; need for repeat training indicated in all rifle units.
7. Final T/A for PMAG turned in to XXIV Corps for approval.
8. Present strength PMAG, Officers 113, EM 93.
9. CO, KA, continuing plans for formation of Horse Cavalry Squadron. However, has agreed to set activation date back 3 months and to concentrate on Cannon Co and AT Co training.
10. Chief, KA, started inspection series 9 December; will cover Seoul area between 9-11 December; will cover 2nd and 5th Brigs during period 12-18 December. 2nd Regt, Taejon, now alerted for movement to Chaju Po 16 December, being visited by Chief, KA. Extraordinary precautions being taken to prevent recurrence of a Yosu incident.
11. Movement of Korean Ord unit from 404th area, Seoul, to Ascom now in progress; estimated date of completion 18 December.

12. Airdrop of 50,000 propaganda leaflets over Chiri Mountain area completed this week. Yosu and Cheju Do to be covered later.
13. IO School to start approximately 3 Jan. Duration 2 months.
Approximately 14 Officers in attendance.
14. Recon Trip departed 7 Dec for reconnaissance of Seoul, Chunchen, Kwenju, Yongwal, Kwangnung area. Capt West, Advisor G-3, PMAG, accompanied and returned Seoul 11 Dec. Detailed report follows.
15. Total tried to date from Yosu-Sunchon incident, 2023 (Military 1307; Civ 916). Total acquitted, 127 (Civ 19). Total convicted,
2035. Death sentences 866 (Civ 503). Life imprisonment, 215 (Civ 43).
Total prosecutions suspended, 640. Total pending for trial, 1140
(Civ 1000). Total executed to date, 277.
16. List of DAC's required for PMAG given final approval by
XXIV Corps.
17. Total of prisoners on hand, confined for subversive activities, 1252 (Officers 104; EM 246).
18. Plans underway for establishment of American Advisory assess in each Korean Regiment. Awaiting final approval of Chief, PMAG.
