11월 13일 경비대의 작전으로 무장대원이 행원리(979-1157)에서 115명, 좌표(937-1133)1 지역에서 37명, 오등리(954-1146) 근처에서 4명 사살되었다. 사살된 무장대원 중 1명은 경비대에서 탈주했던 자로 밝혀졌다. (방첩대 보고. C-3)

1. ARMED FORCES
North Korean Constabularymen Attack South Korean Village
On 15 November an estimated 40 North Korean Constabularymen came south of the parallel, entered the village of WONDAE-RI (1119-1696) and fired on 5 policeman who were patrolling in the village. A fight developed between the North Korean Constabularymen and 20 policemen in the village. No results of the action are known. (CIC Flash Report.

3. CIVIL UNREST
a. Raiders Captured In KANGWON DO
On 15 November the police arrested 2 members of the raider group who have been operating in KANGWON-DO. The prisoners had no weapons.
Upon interrogation the prisoners stated that there were 60 men in the group and that they were South Koreans who had returned from
YANGYANG (1150-1700) where they had been supplied with food, clothing and ammunition. This group plans to go to the CHIIK Mountain (1100-
1620) where they will meet other raiders. Their instructions are to kill all pro-Japanese police in South KOREA and after killing the police establish their own government. (CIC Flash Report. Police Report)
b. Civilians Attacked In KYONGSANG-PUKTO (Delayed Report)
On 02 November 4 persons, armed with pistols, threatened a farmer in CHUNG SAN-RI (1392-1152) and demanded money. Since the farmer had no money the assailants took one mal of rice and escaped.
On 04 November the chairman of the UNITED YOUNG MEN'S PARTY in
CHIN DONG (1347-1148) was killed at his home by unidentified assailants.

c. Constabulary Action In CHOLLA-NAMDO
On 11 November elements of the 3rd Constabulary Regiment engaged an unknown number of civilian rioters in the vicinity of CHUNGSONG
(985-1373). The rioters fire gradually ceased and constabulary troops could find no one in the area. The police estimated the rioter strength at 30 persons. (CIC Flash Report. C-3)
d. Mutineers Captured In CHOLLA-NAMDO (Delayed Report)
On 06 November 4 raiders attempted to cause a disturbance in
SOUCHONG-UP (1087-1394) but were arrested by police. Three of the persons arrested were Constabulary mutineers; one from the 14th Regiment and 2 from the 4th Regiment. (CIC P/R #264. C-3)

e. Loyal Constabulary Troops Captured In CHOLLA-NAMDO
On 14 November 60 Constabularymen of the 12th Regiment were surrounded and captured together with 2 mortars and 36 rounds of mortar ammunition, while attacking a mutineer force in the CHIRI SAN (1070-1370) area. (Constabulary Report)
f. Raider Groups In CHOLLA-NAMDO
The Constabulary report that as of 12 November raider groups consisting of Constabulary mutineers and civilians, were still located in the following areas: PAEGUN SAN area (1060-1340) - 350 men (250 Constabulary mutineers and 50 armed civilians); POLOYO RI (1034-1313) area - 200 men; KOHUNG (1030-1285) area - 150 men; POSUNG (1008-1305) area - 300 men (100 Constabulary mutineers and 200 armed civilians). g. Constabulary Activity On CHEJU-DO (Delayed Reports)
Constabulary action on 13 November on CHEJU-DO resulted in 115 raiders killed in HAENGWON-NI (979-1157), 37 raiders killed in the vicinity of (937-1133) and 4 raiders killed near ODUNG-NI (954-1146). One of the raiders killed was identified as a constabulary deserter. (CIC Report. C-3)
h. Mutineers Raid Temple In KYONGSANG-PUKTO
On 13 November an estimated 35 armed raiders entered a temple in KYONGJU (1219-1437), stole clothing, damaged the building and electric lines and escaped into the mountains. (Police Report)
i. Rightist Terrorism In KYONGSANG NAMDO (Delayed Report)
On 07 November members of the UNITED YOUNG MEN'S PARTY in PUSAN attacked the headquarters of the KOREAN VETERANS ASSOCIATION and seriously injured 1 KVA member. (CIC P/R #264. C-3)
j. Communist Plans Confiscated In PUSAN (Delayed Report)
The following instructions were found in the home of a SOUTH KOREA LABOR PARTY leader in SE DE NI (1318-1106) when he was arrested on 07 November.
(1) Force civilians to write letters of appreciation to the Soviet Government by 05 November.
(2) Force civilians to write threatening letters to rightists.
(3) Write threatening letters to government officials and block leaders.
(4) Distribute handbills in all villages. (CIC P/R #264. C-3)
