1948년 10월 25일 오후 12시 30분 제주도 사무실로부터 받았음.
1948년 10월 24일 경찰 전화선이 끊겼고, 섬의 북쪽에서 내륙으로 이어지는 거의 모든 도로가 무장대에 의해 돌로 막혔다. 10월 24일 밤 대규모 공격이 예상 됐으나 실제로 일어나지는 않았다. 그러나 추가 움직임이 감지돼 경찰이 적극적으로 순찰하고 있다. 서북청년단원을 임시 경찰로 지정해 무기를 지급했다. "레가 레'(Legare)가 서명 (B-2)

Received from CHEJU-DO office, 251230 October 48:
On 24 October 48 police telephone lines were cut and almost all
roads leading into interior of the island on the north side were blocked by the raiders with rocks. Because of this large scale attacks were expected on the night of 24 October, but did not materialize. Further action is indicated, however, and police are patrolling vigorously. SAW DCOM members have been made temporary police and issued arms. Signed "Legare" (D-2)
