Advisors at Cheju do will remain there until W-Day, living with Air Base Detachment. Advisors informed. 3. Plans underway to winterize tentage for two battalions at Cheju do. 4. Fingerprinting of all Korean Constabulary about half completed and continuing. 5. Large amount of surplus FM's and charts received from 7th Division. 6. Three battalions and one Brigade Hqs moved during week to better winter quarters. Hqs, 4th Brigade, now at Chongju. 7. Final class at Taegu Weapons' School completed 9 September. 8. 11th Regiment at Suwon to be inspected Tuesday, 14 September; 14th Regiment at Yosu to be inspected Wednesday, 15 September. Both Korean and American inspectors. 9. For your information, following schools are in operation: KOCG - 560 Officer candidates; 230 Special Ex-Officer class MP School - 400; terminates 5 Oct; 1 month duration Cannon School - 60 Officers, Chinhae, and 60 Officers, Seoul. Both terminate 23 October. Gunners' School - 60; 1 month duration, terminates 9 Oct; the first of two classes.
