지방 감시반 친목 모임 금지
각 도(道)의 선정된 지역에서 선거 활동을 감시하기로 한 결정에 따라 유엔조선임시위원단은 지방 감시반을 구성해 1948년 4월 모든 도의 주요 도시를 방문할 것이다. 위원단은 이를 수행하기에는 주어진 시간이 매우 한정돼 있다는 점을 지적하고 싶다. 따라서 친목 모임에 관한 앞선 결정에 따라, 위원단은 환영파티의 좋은 의도는 감사하면서도 일반 주민이 여는 환영 행사뿐만 아니라 친목 모임, 만찬·오찬, 주민·정당·각종 단체가 주최하는 공식적인 환영 행사의 참여를 거절해야 한다는 점을 이해해 주길 바란다.

FIELD OBSERVATION GROUPS
NO SOCIAL ENGAGEMENTS
In pursuance of its decision to observe the conduct of the elections in selected areas in each of the provinces, the United Nations Temporary Commission on Korea, through its
Field Observation Groups, will visit all the provincial capitals during April 1948.
The Commission wishes to point out that it has very limited time at its disposal in which to carry out these functions. Therefore in accordance with its previous decision regarding social engagements, the Commission would like it to be understood that, while appreciating the good intentions of welcoming parties, it regrets that it must decline to take part in social gatherings, dinners or luncheon parties, or any official welcome organized by groups of citizens, political parties or organizations of any kind, as well as by private citizens.
