(2) 4월 8일 무장한 공산주의자들이 성산에서 지서 1곳을 공격했다. 공산주의자 1명이 사살되었고 경찰의 피해는 없었다. (경찰보고)
(3) 4월 9일부터 10일 사이에 제주 비행장 활주로에서 서쪽으로 0.5마일 지점에 있는 작은 콘크리트 교량을 폭파하려는 시도가 있었다. 피해는 미미했다. (경찰보고)

3. CIVIL UNREST
a. Recent Communist Attacks On CHEJU-DO
(1) At 110200 April two members of the DAI DONG YOUTH and one policeman were killed at SINAM (938-1148). One policeman and one DAI DONG YOUTH member was wounded at AEWOL (931-1145). (CIC Flash rpt. Police rpt)
(2) On 08 April a mob of armed communists attacked a police box at SENGSONG (994-1145), CHEJU DO. One communist was killed, no police casualties. (Police rpt)
(3) During the period 09-10 April an attempt was made to blow up a small concrete bridge one-half mile west of the CHEJU airstrip. Only negligible damage occurred. (Police rpt)
