해군 함선들이 제주도에 구호물자를 수송하는 데 사용됨. 주요 물품은 신발, 옷감 1,800야드, 다용도 식품 60박스(박스 당 70파운드), 의약품 100파운드.

1. All units of the Provisional Artillery School departed 19 Mar for Kangju bivouac area. Firing demonstration to be held 1 April. This represents a most outstanding achievement in the Korean Army; if the firing lives up to expected results, all the fire of 90 guns will be capable of being massed on a given target within a matter of minutes.
2. Many new Korean Field Manuals have been printed and distributed to field - including Rifle Regt, Combat Intell, hand and rifle grenade, HW Co Rifle Regt, AT Co Inf Regt, Scouting and Patrolling, etc.
3. Squad demonstrations: Attack, defense and patrolling have been completed for all Brig by 5th ROI. Plat demonstrations now being conducted. 17 Mar, demonstrations held for 1st, 11th, 12th and 13th Regts.
4. 15 Mar, 23 supply accountable Off grad from 3 wk supply course. New class of 30 Off starts 21 Mar. Subjects include stock record procedure. Adv, G-4, well-pleased with results.
5. 2 Off and 16 EM completed Red Cross course in first-aid; similar texts to American texts used. These individuals will teach a similar class of 200 men commencing 21 Mar.
6. Korean Cav will purchase 40 horses per month, not to exceed 200 total. In addition, 25 breed mares are being purchased and sent to Kyonju breeding farm. Horse Sqdn now has 70 horses and is undergoing basic trng.

8. Operations
a. 38th: 5 minor border incidents during period. No casualties reported.
b. Yongwohl Area, new operations:
6th Brig now optg this area; Mission: locate and reduce any guerrilla bands or supply points encountered. Opns commenced 19 Mar; no results reported to date.
c. Chiri-San: 70 guerrillas KIA; 86 POW; 43 small arms recovered. KA Losses: 1 KIA and 1 WIA.
d. Honam: 24 guerrillas KIA; 18 POW. KA losses, 2 KIA and 1 WIA.
e. Kyungsung Pukto Area, new operations:
In this area, there are reported approx 400 guerrillas, about 80 armed with rifles and remainder spear-men and unarmed. 3d
Brig units presently optg in area. Current results: 4 guerrillas
KIA; 81 POW. No friendly casualties reported.
f. Cheju Do: 58 guerrillas KIA; 27 POW. KA losses, 18
KIA and 4 WIA. 2 LMG, 9 M-1 and 8 Carb recovered.
