a. 제6보병사단:
(1) 제1보병연대 제2대대 소속 연합소총소대 1부대가 1948년 10월 6일 오전 10시 45분 항공기 편으로 부산(1202-1345)을 출발하여 1948년 10월 6일 오후 3시 55분 제주도(951.0-1150.0)에 도착했다.
(2) 제1보병연대 제2대대 소속 연합소총소대 1부대가 1948년 10월 6일 오후 4시 35분 항공기 편으로 제주도(951.0-1150.0)를 출발하여 1948년 10월 6일 오후 6시 55분 부산(1202-1345)에 도착했다.
(3) 제1보병연대는 정보와 보안을 위해 1개의 항공정찰대를 유지했다.

G-3 OPERATIONS REPORT
1. LOCATION OF TROOPS
No major change.
2. WEATHER AND VISIBILITY
Cool and clear. Favorable to air and ground operations.
3. OPERATIONS FOR THE PERIOD
a. 6th Infantry Division:
(1) One composite rifle platoon 2d Battalion, 1st Infantry
Regiment departed Pusan (1202-1345) by air on 061045 October
1948 closed Cheju-Do (951.0-1150.0) on 061555 October 1948.
(2) One composite rifle platoon 2d Battalion, 1st Infantry
Regiment departed Cheju-Do (951.0-1150.0) by air on 061635
October 1948 closed Pusan (1202-1345) on 061855 October 1948.
(3) 1st Infantry Regiment conducted one Air Patrol for intelligence and security.
(4) Effective 5 October 1948 the following unit was reduced to record status:
Company "K", 20th Infantry Regiment.
(5) During the period, 2,406 Military and 25,845 Civilian
Measurement Tons were discharged from the port of Pusan.
(6) During the period 26 September 1948 to 2 October 1948
13,300 Military Measurement Tons were outloaded from the port of Pusan.
b. 7th Infantry Division:
