미확증 경찰보고에 따르면 1948년 6월 2일 약 40명으로 이루어진 3개 무리가 각각 조천리(963-1154), 함덕리(963-1155), 김녕리(974-1156)를 공격했다. 보 고된 사상자는 없다.
5. 기타 귀덕리 (928-1144) - 1948년 6월 2일 아침, 경찰은 마을을 기습하여 15명을 포로로 붙잡고, 도주를 시도한 1명을 죽였다. 사망자는 남로당 문서를 소지하고 있었다. (B-2)

Subversive Activity.
Illegal Activity of a Subversive Nature.
a. TAEGU (1157 - 1439) - Between the hours 1830 and 1930, 2 June 48, students staged a series of unauthorized parades and anti-police demonstrations. Police dispersed the demonstrators without casualties. Twenty-two students including 17 girls were arrested during the demonstrations. (A-1)
b. YANGSAN (1203 - 1376) - Police report that on 2 June 48, two men were shot to death when they attempted to wrest weapons away from policemen. Details are being sought. (C-3)
3. Civil Relations.
Civil Disturbances by Province.
Cheju-Do:
An unconfirmed police report states that on 2 June 48, three separate groups of approximately forty men each attacked the towns of CHONCHON-NI (963 - 1154), HAMDONG-NI (963 - 1155) and KUNNYONG (974 - 1156). No casualties were reported.

KWIDONG-NI (928 - 1144) - On the morning of 2 June 48, police raided the town taking fifteen prisoners and killing one man who attempted to escape. The man had South Korea Labor Party documents in his possession. (B-2)
