a. 사보타주
제주읍 (951-1151) - 1948년 4월 19일, 제주읍의 동·서·남쪽으로 이어지는 상용 및 군용 전화선과 전화 전신주가 절단됐다. 제주읍과 제주도 활주로 사이의 전화선을 수리하던 경찰 분견대는 신원 불명의 사람들로부터 총격을 받았다. 경찰은 응사했다. 보고된 사상자는 없다. (B-2)

제주도:
a. 모슬포 (925-1117) - 1948년 4월 20일 오전 3시, 약 200명의 사람이 경비대 뒤쪽 경계선에 접근했으나 경비병의 발포로 해산됐다. 보고된 사상자는 없다. (B-2)
b. 제주읍 (951-1151) - 1948년 4월 20일 오전 11시 30분, 저격수들이 세 척의 배를 향해 총격을 가했다. 배에서는 경비대원들이 하선 중이었다. 경찰은 50발을 응사했다. 보고된 사상자는 없다. (B-2)
c. 조천리 (964-1155) - 18년 4월 17일 오전 3시, 대동청년단원 3명이 조천리 남서쪽 3마일 지점에서 신원 불명의 사람들로부터 총격을 받고 사망했다. 경찰이 조사 중이다. (B-2)

Subversive Activity.
a. Sabotage.
CHEJU-UP (951 - 1151) - On 19 April 48, commercial and military telephone lines and telephone poles leading East, West, and South of the City were cut. A police detail repairing lines between CHEJU-UP and CHEJU-DO Airstrip (950 - 1151) was fired upon intermittently by unknown persons. Police returned the fire. No casualties reported. (B-2)
b. Terrorism.
(1) YONGSAN-NI (972 - 1328) - (not on map) - At 0300, 17 April 48, fifteen men armed with shotguns and swords entered the home of PAK, Pyung Wang, the district master, and killed him. The assassins escaped. (F-6)
(2) TAEGU (1157 - 1434) - At 2030, 18 April 48, a local policeman, was walking along Tong In Street when seven youths, armed with poles attacked and beat him. Police are investigating. (A-1)
(3) KYONGJU (1212 - 1428) - About 2130, 18 April 48, OLA, Il Ton, leader of the United Young Men's Party was attacked and killed by a group of three youths armed with a shotgun and two Jap swords. The assassins escaped. Police are investigating. (C-3)

Cheju-Do:
a. MOSUIPO (925 - 1117) - At 0300, 20 April 48, 200 men approached picket lines at the rear of a Korean Constabulary camp but were dispersed by fire from the guards. No casualties reported. (B-2)
b. CHEJU-UP (951 - 1151) - At 1130, 20 April 48, snipers fired upon three ships from which Korean Constabulary were disembarking. Police fired fifty rounds in return. No casualties reported. (B-2)
c. CHOCHON-NI (904 - 1155) - At 0300, 17 April 48, three United Young Men's
Party members were shot and killed by unknown persons three miles Southwest of CHOCHON-NI. Police are investigating. (B-2)

5. Miscellaneous.
KANGGUN-NI 9956 - 1344) - (not on map) - At 0240, 18 April 48, police apprehended three men, one of whom was the leader of the group which had cut telephone lines on 6-7 April 48. When the saboteur resisted arrest, police shot him to death. (B-2)
