내도리 (942-1149) - 1948년 4월 28일, 한 정찰대가 내도리와 하귀리(940-1139)에 새로운 도로 장애물이 세워지고 전화선이 절단됐다고 보고했다. (B-2)
b. 파괴 성향의 불법 활동 월산동 (946-1147) - (지도에 없음) - 1948년 4월 28일, 제20보병연대 정찰대는 "자유, 통일 한국의 수립"을 위해 김구와 이승만을 죽여야 한다는 내용의 삐라를 습득했다. (B-2)

b. 제주도:
(1) 신엄리 (935-1147) - 1948년 4월 28일 오전 3시 30분, 미국제 카빈과 수류탄으로 무장한 14명이 마을을 공격했다. 현재 세부 정보는 제공되지 않았다. (B-2)
(2) 신엄리 (935-1147) - 1948년 4월 27일 저녁, 군수와 지역 공무원 6명이 한림(925-1139)에서 선거 업무를 마치고 돌아오다가 기습당했다. 경찰은 사상자 없이 공격자들을 해산시켰다. (B-2)
(3) 화북리 (958-1153) - (지도에 없음) - 1948년 4월 27일 오후 4시 30분, 마
을 이장이 신원 미상의 사람들에게 납치당했다. (B-2)

화북리 (953-1153) - 1948년 4월 27일, 경찰은 개인 주택들에서 약 50만 원 상당의 구급품과 약품을 압수했다. 경찰은 이 구급품들이 근처 오름에 있는 무장 대로 향하던 중이었다고 믿고 있다. (B-2)

NAEDO-RI (942 - 1149) - On 28 April 48, a patrol reported new road blocks constructed and Korean telephone lines destroyed in villages of
NAEDO-RI and HUAGUI-RI (940 - 1139). (B-2)
b. Illegal Activity of a Subversive Nature.
WOLSAN-DONG (946 - 1147) - (not on map) - On 28 April 48, 20th Infantry
Patrols picked up handbills demanding the deaths of LIM, Koo and RHEE, Syng Man, in order that a "free, united Korea may be established."

Civil Disturbances by Province.
a. Cholla-South:
(1) Kan Kun Myun (1057 - 1354) - At 0130, 28 April 48, a crowd of 20 persons attacked and beat to death the local head of the Rightist
Party. At 0230, another Rightist resident of the Myun was beaten to death by the same group. The houses of both rightists were burned and their wives were beaten. (B-2)
(2) Toji Myun (1049 - 1355) - At 0300, 28 April 48, a local Rightist leader was beaten to death by a group identified as the same crowd which perpetrated the disturbances indicated in paragraph (1), above. (B-2)
(3) Kwanji Myun (1046 - 1305) - At 0315, 28 April 48, the same group mentioned in the preceding three incidents, administered fatal beatings to the local head of the United Young Men's Party and to an election official. (B-2)
b. Cheju-Do:
(1) SINAM-NI (935 - 1147) - At 0330, 28 April 48, fourteen men, armed with U.S. Carbines and grenades, attacked the town. Currently, detailed information has not been supplied. (B-2)
(2) SINAM-NI (935 - 1147) - On the evening of 27 April 48, the Gun
Master and six local officials were attacked while returning from election duties in HALLAM (925 - 1139). Police dispersed the attackers without casualties. (B-2)
(3) HEA-BAK (958 - 1153) - (not on map) - At 1630, 27 April 48, the village head was kidnapped by unknown persons. (B-2)

HFA-BAK (958 - 1153) - On 27 April 48, police confiscated an estimated half million Yen worth of first-aid supplies and drugs found in private residences. Police believe that these supplies were enroute to groups of native raiders in the nearby hills. (B-2)
