제주도 제주여중 3학년생 약 180명이 6월 2일 동맹휴업에 들어갔다. 요구사항의 대부분은 교장에 대한 적개심에서 비롯된 것으로 ㈀ 고등 교육과정 심화, ㈁ 파쇼교육 중단, ㈂ 학내 파쇼분자 축출, ㈃ 교장의 행동 시정 등을 요구했다. 아직까지 정치적 의미는 발견되지 않았지만, 파시스트적 요인과 지배에 대한 반발은 모호하게나마 ‘빨간’ 색채를 띠고 있는 것처럼 보인다.

A. Strikes - On Cheju Island on 2 June approximately 180 students of the 3rd year class of the Cheju Girls Middle School went on strike. Demands for the most part are levied against the principal and insist on (a) higher type courses, (b) a stop to fascistic education, (c) ousting of fascistic molecules in the school, (d) a correction of the principals actions. No political significance has been noted as yet, however, the cry against fascistio elements and domination sounds vaguely familiar carrying a "red" undertone.
