박진경 대령 암살
제주 - 1948년 6월 18일 새벽 3시 15분 경비대 제11연대장 박진경 대령이 본부에서 잠든 사이에 피살됐다. 조사 결과 박대령은 M-1 소총에 맞은 것으로 보인다. 방첩대와 범죄수사대, 경찰이 계속 조사를 벌이고 있다. (A-1)

CHEJU (Y51 - 1151) - At 0315, 16 June 48, Colonel BAK, Jin Geung, Commanding the 11th Constabulary Regiment, was shot to death while asleep in his Headquarters. Investigation indicates that Colonel BAK was shot with an M1 rifle. CIC, CID and Police are continuing investigation. (A-1)
