This order was issued as of 26 January 1949 to the Korean Army and Navy. Translation of the order. 1. It is requested to clean up mobs and rioters in order to stabilize thought of people and to affect activities of the coming UN Commission on Korea. 2. The Korean Army is requested to mop up the Communist troops at Mt. CHIRI and other areas in Cholla Namdo. 3. The Korean Army is also requested to send one more Batallion to CHEJU island to reinforce the existing troops there. The Batallion will be under Command of C.O. of The CHEJU Task Forces. 4.
