a. 공산주의자들 테러 제주도에서 우익인사 피살 9월 25일 우익인사 1명이 김녕(974-1156) 인근에서 무장대에 의해 살해되었다. (방첩대 정기보고 제227호. C-2)
d. 개괄
(1) 남한에서 삐라 살포 최근 애월면(940-1140)에서는 삐라가 밤마다 살포되고 있다. 삐라에는 다음의 활동을 촉구하는 내용이 적혀 있었다.
(1) 제주도에 주둔하고 있는 육지 경찰을 제거하라.
(2) 조선민주주의인민공화국의 인민위원회를 지지하라.
(3) 이승만 단독정부를 무너뜨려라.
(4) 세금과 곡물의 징수를 거부하라.
어떤 삐라에는 미군이 곧 떠나가게 될 것이므로 경찰과 서북청년단, 민보단은 북조선인민공화국에 협력해야 한다고 경고하는 내용이 들어있기도 했다. (방첩대 정기보고 제227호. C-2)

(1) Handbills Distributed in South KOREA
The appearence of handbills in AEWOL Myun (940-1140), CHEJUDO, has recently become a nightly occurrance. The following activities are advocated by the handbills.
(1) Rid CHEJU-Do of the mainland police.
(2) Support the People's Conference of the Korean Democratic
People's Republic.
(3) Destroy the separate government of RHEE Syng Man.
(4) Resist taxes and grain collection.
One handbill warned the police, NORTHWEST YOUNG MEN'S
ASSOCIATION and the Village Self Protection Bodies they should cooperate with the North Korean Republic because the American troops would soon leave. (CIC P/R #227. C-2)
