b. 대정면 (926-1120) - 1948년 5월 25일 오후 2시 30분, 경찰은 어느 경찰간부 후보생이 신원 미상의 인물에 의해 살해됐다고 보고했다. 추가 세부 사항은 조사 중이다.
3. 대민관계 도별 민간인 소요
제주도:
a. 좌표 (945-1148) - 1948년 5월 26일, 일본제 소총 1정과 탄환 100발로 무장한 7명의 무장대가 경비대에 의해 체포됐다. 좌표 (967-1141) 지점 근처에서도 무장대 13명이 체포됐다. 모든 포로는 제주(952-1152)에 억류 중이다. (B-2)
b. 안덕면 (933-1125) - (추가) - 1948년 5월 23일 오전 6시, 경찰은 약 100명 규모의 무장대가 지역 경찰지서를 공격했다고 보고했다. 무장대 중 40명은 소총을, 나머지는 창을 들고 있었다. 보고된 사상자는 없다. 경찰지서가 훼손됐다. (C-3)
c. 서홍리 (955-1121) - 1948년 5월 25일 오전 1시 30분, 무장대 10명이 마을을 공격했다. 주민 3명이 사망하고 3명이 부상당했다. (경찰보고)

a. KUKKOK-TONG (1150 - 1514) - At approximately 2330, 26 May 48, five men, armed with clubs, entered the home of KWON, Tae Eun, leader of the local
Rightist Party, and beat him. KWON was injured slightly. Police are investigating. (C-3)
b. TAEJONG (926 - 1120) - At 1430, 25 May 48, a cadet policeman was reported by police to have been killed by unknown persons. Additional details are being sought.
c. CHONG-DONG (1005 - 1336) - (Not on map) - Police report that on 27 May
48, a group of six men attacked and killed a policeman in his home. One of the attackers put on the dead policeman's uniform and took his carbine. The group then went to the local police box where they shot to death the policeman on duty and took his uniform along with another hanging in the police box. The group also took from the police box two
Jap rifles together with a small amount of ammunition.
3. Civil Relations.
Civil Disturbances by Province.
Cheju-Do:
a. At coordinates (945 - 1140) on 26 May 48, seven raiders, armed with one
Jap rifle and 100 rounds of ammunition were captured by Constabulary units who also captured thirteen raiders in the vicinity of coordinates
(907 - 1141). All prisoners are being held at CHEJU (952 - 1152). (B-2)
b. ANTOK MYON (933 - 1125) - (Delayed) - At 0600, 23 May 48, police reported an estimated 100 raiders, forty of whom were armed with rifles; the remainder with spears, attacked a local police box. No casualties were reported. The police box was damaged. (C-3)
c. SOHONG-RI (955 - 1121) - At 0130, 25 May 48, ten raiders attacked the village, killing three natives and wounding three others. (Police report)

5. Miscellaneous.
SANGJU (1114 - 1504) - (Delayed) - About 22 May 48, police arrested KIM, Pal
Mon, who had arrived in the area about 20 May 48. KIM admitted to police that he was a member of the North Korea Labor Party and that he belonged to a group of sixty which had been sent to South Korea in October 1947 to organize strikes and civil disturbances. Police are investigating. (Police report)
