대정면 - 1948년 5월 25일 오후 2시 30분 한 경찰간부 후보생이 신원미상의 사람들에게 피살됐다고 경찰이 보고했다. 추가 내용을 확인중이다.
2. 민간인 소요
(1) 1948년 5월 26일 일본제 소총 1정과 실탄 100발로 무장한 폭도 7명이 좌표 945-114□ 지역에서 경비대에 붙잡혔고, 폭도 13명은 좌표 967-1141 지역 인근에서 붙잡혔다. 포로 전원이 제주읍에 구금돼 있다. (B-2)
(2) 안덕면(추가보고) - 1948년 5월 23일 오전 6시 경찰은 소총으로 무장한 40명과 창으로 무장한 약 60명의 폭도들이 지서 1곳을 공격했다고 보고했다. 사상자는 보고되지 않았다. 지서가 피해를 입었다. (C-3)
(3) 서홍리 - 1948년 5월 25일 새벽 1시 30분 폭도 10명이 마을을 공격해 주민 3명을 살해하고 다른 3명에게 부상을 입혔다. (경찰보고)

D. TAEJONG (926 - 1120) - At 1430, 25 May 43, a cadet policeman was reported by police to have been killed by unknown persons. Additional details are being sought.
3. Civil Relations.
Civil Disturbances by Province.
Cheju-Do:
a. At coordinates (943 - 1140) on 26 May 4o, seven raiders, armed with one Jap rifle and 100 rounds of ammunition were captured by Constabulary units who also captured thirteen raiders in vicinity of coordinates (907 - 1141). All prisoners are being held at CHEJU (952 - 1152). (B-2)
b. At K in an (933 - 1125) - (Delayed) - At 0600, 23 May 40, police report. ed an estimated 100 raiders, forty of whom were armed with rifles; the raiders with spears, attacked a local police box. No casualties were reported. The police box was damaged. (C-3)
c. SOHONG-RI (935 - 1121) - At 0130, 25 May 43, ten raiders attacked the village, killing three natives and wounding three others. (Police report)
