a. Communists To Form "Third Party"
It is reported that certain staff members of both the

An "underground third communist party" will be organized to destroy the Soviet influence. The SOUTH KOREA LABOR PARTY is supposedly torn with internal dissension by members attempting to gain party leadership and intellectuals whose aim is to align KOREA as a buffer for Soviet communism, while the Northern Party leaders are living on the bounty of the Soviet Army Forces but the laboring people and farmers are starving because of shipments of rice to RUSSIA. It is hoped that these weaknesses will make possible the successful formation of a true
Korean Communist Party. (CIC S/I, 03 May. F-3)
