Subversive Activity. Sabotage. A 2nd Bn, 63rd Inf motorized patrol on 11 Feb reported that on 5 Feb 47, the police telephone lines near KUNJE (989 - 1429) were cut in three places. In CHANGYONG (982 - 1432) information in the hands of the police indicates that Leftist leaders here have received orders from SEOUL to kill major leaders of the Right Wing, about 1 March 1947; the police have arrested two Leftists for questioning. 2. The U.S. .45 caliber pistol taken from a member of the "Democratic Young Men's Association" arrested on 26 Dec 46, in MOKPO (Reference G-2 Report #437, of 28 Dec 46) checks ballistically with the bullet taken from a U.S. soldier who was shot in the back in KWANGJU (991 - 1350) by an unknown person about a month ago.
