SUBJECT: Land Distribution Disturbance, Cheju Island
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
The following information was received by this office through liaison with the National Police.
The Chief of Cheju Island Police reported to the Chief of Metropolitan Police as follows:
1. CHAWA, Sang Rong a policeman of Division "G" Police while vacationing at Cheju learned that the last disturbance demanding land distribution was agitated by leaders from
North Korea.
2. The agitators hadas their principal mission the destruction of the South Korean Police. They were using funds from a portion of the ₩ 30 per household, enforced collection.
This collection was carried out in North Korea.
