On 10 June the Military Governor issued the following proclamation:
"By virtue of the power vested in me by Section 44, Law for the Election of Representatives of the Korean People, of 17 March 1948, acting on recommendation of the National Election Committee, I declared on 24 May 1948 the election hold on 10 May 1948 in Electoral District A and Electoral District B of North
On 14 June constabulary troops discovered a raider supply point near the village of OSUNGSAENG AK (948-1137). Material confiscated included five Japanese swords, four bayonets, tentage, one mimeograph machine and 550,000 won. (MG report, B-2)
