(2) 경비대는 6월 21일 오후 6시부터 다음 날 오후 6시까지 폭도 48명을 송당리 인근에서 체포하고 카빈 1정을 회수했다. 체포자 중에는 애월 경비대원 1명이 포함되어 있었다. 같은 기간 동안 폭도 29명이 삼양리에서 체포되었다. (미군정 보고, B-2)

g. Raiders Captured On CHEJU-DO
(1) On 22 June 9 raiders were captured in a cave in the village of PUKCHON NI (969-1155). Two of the prisoners confessed killing 2 policemen on 16 June. The police also confiscated several home-made hand grenades. (MG Report. B-2)
(2) The Constabulary, during the 24-hour period ending 221800 June, captured 48 raiders, including one AWOL constabularyman, in the vicinity of SONG DANG NI (978-1148). One carbine was recovered. During the same period 29 raiders were captured in SAMYANG-NI (959-1153). (MG Report. B-2)
