제주도 좌익체포
제주도에서 추가로 좌익인사 115명이 체포됨
폭동 지령 문건이 발견된 공산주의자들의 불법회합과 관련하여 1월 22일 체포된 106명 외에 1월 26일까지 좌익인사 115명이 추가로 검거되었다. 총 연행자 221명 중에서 63명이 경찰의 심문을 받은 다음 방면되었다. 방면된 자들은 공산주의자인 남로당 당원이었다. 미방면자들의 정치적 성향은 보고되지 않았다. (방첩대 정기보고 제32호. 경찰보고)

Additional 115 Leftists Arrested On CHEJU-DO
In addition to the 106 leftists who were arrested on 22 January, in connection with an illegal communist meeting where riot orders were discovered (see "CHEJU-DO Communists Ordered To Riot Between Middle February, 05 March," par 4a/1/,
P/R #752), 115 more leftists had been arrested up to 26
January. Of the 221 total, 63 were released following police
interrogation. Those released were members of the communist
SOUTH KOREA LABOR PARTY. The political affiliation of the
