유엔한국위원회 소위원회는 지난 1년 동안 심각한 소요 사태가 발생한 제주도를 조사하기 위해 4월 18일 내도했다. 소위원회는 3일 간 머물게 되며 제주도 방문 후에는 역시 주요 소요 지역인 전라남도를 4월 25일부터 28일까지 찾아 볼 계획이다. (B-1)

a. UNCOK Committee To Tour Areas of Unrest
A sub-committee of UNCOK.went to CHEJUDC on 18 April to survey the island, which for the past year has been the scene of serious civil unrest. The group plans to remain 3 days. Upon its return from CHEJU-DO, the same group is scheduled to visit CHOLLA-NAMDO Province, major seat of mainland disturbances, on 25-28 April. (D-1)
