제주도의 폭도들은 마을 기습을 산발적으로 계속하고 있다. 1월 13일에는 약 100명으로 추산되는 폭도들이 삼포리(**)를 기습했고, 1월 16일에는 폭도 약 50명이 KUDUK-NI(930-1130)를 기습했다. 교전으로 경찰과 주민 10명이 목숨을 잃었고, 폭도 6명이 사살되었다. (한국군 보고)

(6) Two kinds [illegible] by CHEJU-DO Guerrillas
CHEJU-DO raiders continue to make sporadic attacks on villages. In two recent incidents a force estimated at 100 attacked SAMPO-Ri (Coordinates Unknown) on 13 January, and a group of 50 attacked KUDUK-Ni (930-1130) on 16 January. In the fighting 10 police and level civilians lost their lives, while 6 of the enemy were killed. (KA Report)
