With reference to paragraph 4 of Seoul Polad telegram No. 427, June 7, 1948, I have the honor to enclose a table of the final figures compiled by the National Election Committee showing the number of persons who registered for and voted in the Korean election of May 10, 1948, in South Korea. As mentioned in the telegram under reference, these figures are not being made public here.

5/ Includes 1 electoral district which had 49,149 registrants and "no contest .
6/ Includes 3 electoral districts which had 135,292 registrants and "no contest"
7/ Includes 5 electoral districts which had 150,405 registrants and "no contest"
8/ Percentages derived exclusive of "no contest" data, i.e., after deducting 445,688 registrants in 12 electoral districts (total of figures in 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 above) who did not vote or need to vote because there was only one candidate.
