1. 민간인 소요
확인되지 않은 한 경찰보고에 따르면 1948년 6월 2일 약 40명으로 조직된 3개 무리가 조천리와 함덕리, 김녕리를 공격했다. 사상자는 보고되지 않았다.
2. 기타 소요
귀덕리 - 1948년 6월 2일 오전 경찰은 마을을 급습해 15명을 포로로 잡고, 달아나려던 1명을 사살했다. 사살된 자는 남로당 서류를 가지고 있었다. (B-2)

Civil Disturbances by Province.
Cheju-Do:
An unconfirmed police report states that on 2 June 48, three separate groups of approximately forty men each attacked the towns of CHONCHON-NI (963 - 1154, HAMDONG-NI (963 - 1155) and KUNSYONG (974 - 1156). No casualties were reported.
5. Miscellaneous.
KHIDONG-NI (928 - 1144) - On the morning of 2 June 48, police raided the town taking fifteen prisoners and killing one man who attempted to escape. The man had South Korea Labor Party documents in his possession. (B-2)
