1947년 6월 13일부터 9월 13일까지 민간인 소요 요약
보병 제6사단 관할 지역 내의 민간인 소요 발생 속도가 빨라지고 있다. 정보참모부의 기록에 따르면 지난 3개월 동안 전체 220건의 폭동과 소요가 127곳의 읍면에서 발생했다. 이는 하루 평균 폭동과 소요가 2.2건이나 발생했음을 말해주는 것이다. 민간인 소요의 원인은 1947년 7월 10일자 <일일정보보고> 제630호와 1947년 7월 24일자 <일일정보보고> 제644호에 나와 있는 정보요약서의 내용과 같다. 좌익과 우익 사이의 은밀한 내전은 현재 발생하는 대부분의 소요의 원인이 되고 있다. 소요는 여전히 경상남도에서 가장 많이 발생하고 있다. 소요를 지방별로 요약하면 다음과 같다.

SUMMARY OF CIVIL DISTURBANCES FROM 13 JUNE 1947 TO 13 SEPTEMBER 1947:
The tempo of civil disturbances in the 6th Inf Div zone of responsibility is still increasing. Records of the G-2 Office disclose that a total of 202 riots and disturbances have taken place in 127 different cities and towns, during the past three months. This is a daily average of 2.2 riots and disturbances. The causes of these civil disturbances are the same as those previously listed in the summaries contained in G-2 Report #630, 10 July 47 and G-2 Report #644, 24 July 47. The undeclared Civil War between the Rightist and Leftist is at the present time causing most of the disturbances. Kyongsang-South Province still leads. A summary of disturbances by provinces follows;
