d. 경기도에 우익 포스터 출현
6월 8일 한빌 노스웨스트 영 맨스 어소시에이션 (KAESONG (950-1690) 지부)이 북한의 소비에트 정책을 규탄하는 포스터를 부착했다. (CIC P/R #138. B-2)
e. 경기양-남도에서의 테러와 공산주의 선전
(1) 6월 4일 오전 울산건 (1230-1400)에서 전 선거위원회 위원장이 미군 권총으로 무장한 4-5명의 남자에게 총에 맞아 살해되었다. (CIC P/R #138. C-3)
(2) 6월 3일 혁청 (1110-1402)의 경찰 상자가 돌로 공격을 받았다. 경찰이 미지의 공격자에게 발포했으나 모두 도망쳤다. (CIC P/R #138. C-3)
(3) 6월 6일 약 1000명의 공산주의 한빌이 혁청 (1110-1420)에 배포되었다. 같은 날 경찰 전화선이 끊겼고 신호탄이 근처 산에서 발사되었다. (CIC P/R #138. C-3)
f. 경찰이 공산주의자들과 무기를 체포하다 (지연 보고)
(1) 5월 29일 18명의 공산주의자들이 천주 (1020-1430)에서 우익 정당 인물을 살해하려는 계획을 논의하던 중 체포되었다. (CIC P/R #138. B-2)

b. 제주도 재선거 무기한 연기
6월 10일 군정장관은 다음과 같은 포고문을 발표했다:
"본인은 1948년 3월 17일 발효된 국회의원선거법 제44조에 의거하여 본인에게 부여된 권한과 국회선거위원회의 권고에 따라서 지난 5월 24일 제주도 북제주군 갑선거구와 을선거구에서 5월 10일 실시되었던 선거가 파괴분자들의 폭력적 활동으로 인하여 선거를 치른 투표인 수가 50% 미만이었으므로 무효임을 선언한 바 있다. 또한 본인은 이 두 선거구의 재선거를 1948년 6월 23일에 실시할 것이라고 공포하였다."
"그러나 제주도에는 공공질서와 안녕을 방해하는 폭력세력이 계속하여 준동하고 있다. 이에 본인은 북제주군 갑선거구와 을선거구 선거구민들의 뜻을 진정으로 대표하는 평화적이고 방해받지 않는 선거를 보장해주고자 하는 열망에서 이 두 선거구의 재선거를 무기한 연기할 것을 명한다."

a. 제주도에서 경찰이 마을 급습
6월 11일 오전 3시부터 오전 9시 사이에 경찰 60명이 도두리(946-1151)를 급습했다. 폭도 11명이 체포되고 1명은 사망했다. 이 습격에서 경찰은 다이너마이트 뇌관과 조명탄, 공산주의 서적, 삐라 인쇄를 위한 종이와 등사기 1대를 압수했다. (미군정보고. B-2)

a. National Assembly Adopts Parliamentary Rules
On 10 June the National Assembly adopted the Rules
Committee's proposals for parliamentary procedure to be used in the Assembly.
b. CHEJU-DO Re-Election Indefinitely Postponed
On 10 June the Military Governor issued the following
proclamation:
"By virtue of the power vested in me by Section 44, Law
for the Election of Representatives of the Korean People, of
17 March 1948, acting on recommendation of the National Election
Committee, I declared on 24 May 1948 the election held on 10 May
1948 in Electoral District A and Electoral District B of North
CHEJU DO null and void because voting was held in less than
50 per cent of the voting districts of these two electoral districts due to activities and violence of subversive elements.
Simultaneously I ordered that a new election take place in these two electoral districts on 23 June 1948.
In view of the continuing efforts of subversive elements to disturb public peace and order on CHEJU DO Island, motivated by the desire to guarantee to the voting population of Electoral
District A and Electoral District B of North CHEJU DO a peaceful and undisturbed election which truly represents the will of the people of these districts, I herewith order that the byelection in these two electoral districts is postponed for an indefinite period."

a. Police Raid CHEJU-DO Village
Between 110300 and 110900 June 60 police raided TOTU RI
(946-1151). 11 rioters were arrested, one was killed and the police confiscated dynamite detonators, signal flares, communist books and a press and necessary paper for printing handbills. (MG Report. B-2)
b. Rightist Killed On CHEJU-DO
On 10 June 10 raiders armed with Japanese rifles killed one UNITED YOUNG MEN'S PARTY member at TOSUN NI (946-1220).
