Illegal Activity of a Subversive Nature. (11) Chungaun Myun (945 - 1123) - On 10 May 48, a polling booth was raid-eu and all ballots were destroyed. (Police report) (12) Songsan Myun (945 - 1143) - On 10 May 48, the voting booth was burn-ed by a group of sixty men. (A-1) (13) CHEJU*Up (952 - 1152) - On 10 May 46, two dynamite charges were ex-ploded near the CHEJU City Hall. No casualties were reported. (A-1) 3. Civil Relations. Civil Disturbances by Province. c. CheJu-DO: (1) CHEJU-DO AIRSTRIP (948 - 1150) - At 1140, 10 May 48, two groups of approximately 250 and 30 men respectively were engaged in a fire fight 200 yards south of the AIRSTRIP. The larger group was carry-ing plain white flags. A platoon of Constabulary was dispatched to the scene but the larger group and disappeared in the vicinity of coordinates (949 - 1144). No casualties were reported. (A-1) (2) Pyoson Myun (90 - 1130) - On 10 May 48, one polling place was raided. Two persons were killed and all ballots were destroyed. (Police report) (3) SONGDANG-NI (978 - 1147) - At 1100, 10 May 48, two persons were kill-ed, one w.s wounded and seven homes burned. Details are being sought. (B-2)
