“미소공위는 실패로 끝날 것이다. 그러나 우리는 미국의 한국정책을 지지하기 때문에 크게 걱정하지 않는다. 우리는 미군정과 이승만을 지지한다. 우리는 한국의 독립을 위하여 ‘계속 싸울’ 것이다.”

Leftists, Rightists Express Opinions on US-USSR Joint Commission
A confidential informant reports the following summaries of conversations with a vorel loftists and rightists in TAEJONG MYUN (920-1120) during the latter part of May.
(a) The rightist opinion of the US-USSR Joint Commission is: "It will end in failure, but they are not unduly concerned as they are in favor of the UNITED STATES' policy in KOREA. They support USAMGIK and Dr RHEE Syng Man. They intend to 'continue fighting' for Korean independence."
(b) The loftist opinion of the US-USSR Joint Commission is: "It will be successful and the left wing will get power to "Continue fighting." They may plan to devote themselves to revolution unless they get such political power from the US-USSR Joint Commission." (CJC S/I)
