a. 제6보병사단 : (중략)
(2) 제1보병연대 제2대대 소속의 1개 혼합 소총소대가 1948년 11월 4일 11시 30분에 제주도발 항공기 편으로 리스(Rees) 캠프(1202-1345)를 출발하여 1948년 11월 4일 13시 40분에 제주에 도착했다.
(3) 제1보병연대 제2대대 소속의 1개 혼합 소총소대가 1948년 11월 4일 14시 50분에 항공기 편으로 제주를 출발하여 1948년 11월 4일 16시에 리스 캠프에 도착했다.
(4) 제1야전 포병대대 A포대는 정보 수집과 보안을 위해 8차례의 공중 정찰을 요청했다.
(5) 1948년 11월 2일 13시 05분에 스킵워쓰(Skipworth) 캠프에 인접한 한국 국방경비대 제6연대 캠프 내부에서 일어난 반란과 관련하여 일반 경계경보가 제1보병연대에 울러 퍼졌다. 제1보병연대 요원들은 스킵워쓰 캠프를 가로질러 반군들이 통과하는 것을 저지하기 위해 동원되었다. 그 반란과 연관하여 예비조사와 보안을 위해 1948년 11월 2일 13시 30분에 제1보병연대 A중대의 한 소대는 스킵워쓰 캠프로부터 급파되었으며 1948년 11월 2일 17시 20분 스킵워쓰 캠프를 폐쇄했다. 한국 국방경비대 소속 장교 4명, 병사 303명과 민간인 12명이 제1보병연대장에게 항복했다. 그 반란군들은 1948년 11월 3일 09시 30분에 국방경비대 제3연대장에게 양도되었다. a. 6th Infantry Division:
(2) One (1) composite rifle platoon, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment departed Camp Rees (1202-1345) 041134 November 1948 by air to Cheju-Do. Closed Cheju (950.2-1150.2) 041340 November 1948.
(3) One (1) composite rifle platoon, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment departed Cheju (950.2-1150.2) 041450 November 1948, by air, closed Camp Rees (1202-1345) 041600 November 1948.
(4) Battery "A", 1st Field Artillery Battalion conduc ted eight aerial patrole for intelligence and security. [illegible]
(5) A general alert was declared [illegible] the [illegible] Infantry Regiment, 021305 November 1948 in connection with the rioting within the 6th Korean Constabulary Regiment Camp [illegible] adjacent to Camp Skipworth. Elements of [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] deployed to prevent passage of rioters through Camp Skipworth. A platoon of "A" Company, 1st Infantry Regiment was dispatched from
Camp Skipworth at 041330 November 1948 for reconnaissance and security in connection with the rioting, closed Camp Skipworth 021720 November 1948. Four (4) Officers, 303 enlisted men. Korean Constabulary and 12 Korean Civilians surrendered to the Commanding Officer, 1st Infantry Regiment. The rioters were then turned over to the Command[ing] Officer, 3d Constabulary Regiment at 030930 November 1948.
