b. Raider Activities on CHEJU-DO
Raider activities on CHEJU DO continued during the period from 23 October to 27 October. Constabularymen captured approximately 50 demonstrators at MOSULPO (925-1115) and HALLIM-LI (925-1140) who were agitating school children with communist propaganda. (A-2)
During the past three nights the town of SOGWI (957-1120) was fired into and the blocking of roads and the cutting of telephone lines and poles by raiders has continued. (A-2)
On 24 October raiders attacked a constabulary and civilian wood gathering detail near CHEJU CITY (950-1152). One constabularyman was wounded and one civilian was killed and one wounded. (A-2)
On 25 October a bus was fired on by unknown persons on the main road in AEWOL Myun (930-1147). One person was killed and 1 wounded. (B-2)
