b. Police Defeat CHEJU-DO Rebels
Police clashed with a force of armed rebels who invaded DODU-RI (940-1150) on 16 February. In the one-hour fight, which ensued 34 rebels and 6 villagers were killed; 2 rebels were captured, and 16 residents were wounded. Police had no casualties. (Police Report)
